I am Ratan Aulakh, a seasoned Indian film and television professional with over five decades of experience as an actor, director, writer, and producer. I began my career in theater before making my cinematic debut in the Punjabi film Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansar (1970). My breakthrough came in Punjabi cinema with the acclaimed film Mamla Garbar Hai (1983), where I portrayed the antagonist, Mickey, earning widespread recognition. Over the years, I have contributed to more than 50 films and television projects, successfully bridging Hindi and Punjabi cinema by introducing prominent Hindi artists to Punjabi films. My notable works include Mitter Pyaare Nu Haal Mureedan Da Kehna, featuring Akshay Kumar. In television, I appeared in iconic shows like Junoon, Yug, Main Dilli Hoon, and Vishnu Puran, leaving a lasting mark on Indian entertainment. Additionally, I have actively promoted freestyle and professional wrestling, demonstrating my dedication to fostering talent in sports. Recognized for my contributions, I have received accolades such as the Punjab Rafi Ratan Award (2022) and the ‘Pride of Punjabi Cinema’ Award (2019).
